...so I was just in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop in to say...I wonder if I am the first to comment? I reckon I'll find out. And now for my comment. I repented from politics and was healed from news-junkie-itis. It hasn't been long now...and it takes discipline and I cry out for help from God to keep me from peeking back at it. That only happens once in a while..and that...at longer and longer intervals of...time-passing. I have way more peace this way. I was about to short circuit over the whole *forest for the trees*. Thanking God for the deliverance. Yes I am :) So...I'm pretty safe now that the Lord has adjusted my attitude :) :) And I couldn't be happier :) And...it's only gonna get wose and worse out there in *the world*...while spiritually..it will be getting better and better for us as we see That Day....approaching. It's all coming down. I do not know how anyone can...not...see that...and yet many amongst professed believers...do not see it..and think somehow...humankind (little snicker) can control the inevitable...when hard rain falls...there is a way to count it joy. We need to ask the Lord to show it to us. He showed me that the earth in in travail..we all can see that...and have the invitation to...rest...in His Sovereignty. Today I do. Yesterday...I remember also as a day of Rest in His finished Work. I can get to thinking about it...and it blows my mind..in a super great way. So...in conclusion I will say this. Since I made this choice...to take a hopefully forever long break from watching and fretting over seeing everything begin to spin...what appears like...*out of control*. But we know that He...is in control...and His Word...will be accomplished. And that...right on His perfect time scheduale. Amen :) And...I probably won't post very often cuz..I've been very busy with all the birdies :)
Thank you Rhonda! this is the first blog comment. This blog is alot more than just politics, which I agree can be a trap. Our focus is on Christ. However, the second part of of what you said is also true. We are called to watch, and to know the signs of the times were living in so that that day will not catch us unawares. By the way, that applies to BOTH believers and UNBELIEVERS AS WELL even tho they don't believe it, even tho they're unaware of it. God bless, Steve
